The serial number indicates to us that this machine was the 7th machine of the production line and the 1st unit to be sold. JCB have confirmed this in writing to us and indicated that the first 5 built were prototypes, the sixth was kept by JCB and is on display in their museum and therefore that our machine was the first unit ever sold.
