R Bunton Ltd is a family run business established since 1970. We have years of experience and knowledge within the industry. We provide many services including plant and machinery hire, groundworks and landscaping, excavation contracting, construction and civil engineering, haulage services and aggregates.
Our large fleet of plant available for hire includes wheeled and tracked excavators, wheeled dumpers and tracked dumpers. We have various sizes of rollers, dozers and loading shovels, as well as mobile crushing and screening units. Additionally we run a fleet of wagons, including STG02 plated low loaders, grab and tipper wagons and road sweepers.
Our fleet is modern, efficient and reliable as we only buy the most advanced and productive machinery from leading manufacturers such as Volvo, Hitachi, Takeuchi, CASE, JCB, Kobelco and Komatsu. Our fleet is serviced to manufacturer’s specification by our in-house service team.
Our Groundworks division specialises in landscaping, civil engineering, utilities & drainage and equestrian projects. Our established teams are experienced and professional; we have completed both major and minor works for the commercial, local authority and private sector.
We are often at the front of pioneering projects alongside our customers. We work for various customers such as JN Bentley, The Sirius Group, Morgan Sindall, HB Projects and Weiser Construction as well as local authorities. For these companies we have carried out a wide range of works, including excavations for a one million litre storm tank at Withernsea, reinstating infrastructure for new Greggs stores and sub-division of retail units at retail parks.
Due to renewing the majority of our fleet on a rolling 2-year cycle most of our plant comes available for sale at a relatively young stage in its life with a low number of hours on the clock and in extremely good condition. The majority of our machines are hired with our operators and the machines are regularly maintained by our service team.
